Toolbox Entertainment™ began with a simple idea: bring the right people and the right tools together to help creative ideas move forward.

Since 2007, we have worked globally with artists, creators, individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations through media, technology, storytelling, coaching, and creative collaboration.

Today, Toolbox Entertainment focuses on Creative Coaching, Multimedia, and Communications—helping people develop ideas, create media, strengthen stories, and connect with audiences.

Where It Started

Toolbox began in 2007 through work with independent artists and labels, supporting promotions, events, marketing, talent development, audio and video production, social media, and creative projects.

Working alongside artists revealed something larger: people often needed more than a single service. They needed trusted collaborators who could help them think through an idea, find the right tools, and move from possibility to action.

That collaborative spirit became the foundation for what Toolbox is today.

As our work expanded beyond entertainment, so did Toolbox. Partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, educators, and community organizations revealed opportunities to apply the same collaborative approach to organizational strategy, learning, technology, and program design.

Shelley Wolfe is a media leader, creative coach, and founder of Toolbox, with nearly three decades of experience helping people and organizations turn ideas into meaningful work. Her career spans media, entertainment, education, community media, technology, and nonprofit leadership, giving her a unique ability to connect creative thinking with practical action.

Shelley works with artists, creators, organizations, and emerging talent to develop ideas, shape stories, navigate creative challenges, and explore new ways to use media and technology. Her approach is collaborative and hands-on, helping people move from “I have an idea” to understanding what they want to create, who they want to reach, and how to bring it to life.

She founded Toolbox Entertainment in 2007 around a simple belief: no single tool—or person—has every answer. The best work happens when the right people, ideas, knowledge, and tools come together around what someone is trying to create.

Beth St. Clair is a coach, learning practitioner, and professional development specialist with more than 25 years of experience helping people recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward meaningful personal and professional goals.

Beth takes a whole-person approach to coaching, recognizing that professional growth does not happen in isolation. Social, emotional, environmental, physical, financial, intellectual, vocational, and personal well-being can all influence how people learn, work, lead, and grow. Her approach helps individuals understand the larger picture while developing practical strategies for moving forward.

Beth began her career in Philadelphia, where she co-developed an IT apprenticeship program for young adults and created an extensive collection of resources and learning materials to support apprentices as they entered and developed their careers. She has since applied that experience to developing training and coaching programs for organizations and supporting people at different stages of their professional journeys—from those just entering the workforce to experienced managers and leaders.

As an Innovation Design Coach, Beth brings expertise in individual and professional coaching, workforce development, training design, career development, leadership development, and whole-person growth—helping people identify their strengths, establish meaningful goals, and create practical pathways for achieving them.

In addition to his production work, Manuel has expanded his practice into multimedia education, sharing his professional experience with others and helping emerging creators develop the skills and confidence to create their own content. Kyra Williams is a multimedia artist, social entrepreneur, educator, and scholar-practitioner whose work brings together media, technology, storytelling, and education. She is the founder of Stories In My Backyard (SIMBY), a Philadelphia nonprofit creating culturally relevant media arts and digital literacy experiences that help young people become critical consumers and confident creators of media.

A Philadelphia native and Gates Millennium Scholar, Kyra earned her BFA in Recorded Music from NYU’s Clive Davis Institute at the Tisch School of the Arts and an MA in Digital Media Design for Learning from NYU Steinhardt. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.

Kyra designs and leads experiences spanning photography, video, virtual reality, digital storytelling, and creative technology. Her work has included youth media programs, immersive exhibitions, multimodal research, and partnerships connecting young people with professional creative opportunities. She is also the creator of SIMBY Presents: The Voices of Sisterly Affection, an immersive photography, video, and virtual reality exhibition celebrating Philadelphia’s Black music history.

As an Innovation Design Coach, Kyra brings expertise in multimedia storytelling, digital literacy, media arts education, immersive technology, youth engagement, and culturally responsive program design—helping people and organizations use media and technology to create, communicate, learn, and expand what is possible.

Director of Rest + Observation | Squirrel Intelligence

A good-looking Bulldog Terrier originally from North Philadelphia, [Name] joined the team in May 2016 and has been exploring life with his person ever since. After making the move from Philadelphia to Denver, Colorado, he quickly settled into his new surroundings, made new friends, and discovered an entirely new population of squirrels requiring careful observation.

In his free time, he enjoys sleeping, eating, and watching squirrels. When he’s working, he pretty much does the same. There really isn’t much difference.

He may be shy and a little anxious when meeting new people, but underneath it all, he genuinely loves people and enjoys being part of the action—preferably from a comfortable and strategically selected location.

As Toolbox’s resident observation specialist, he brings expertise in strategic napping, snack management, squirrel surveillance, quiet companionship, and knowing when the best contribution to a project is simply being there.

After being bounced between five homes during her first year of life, Mookie was rescued by Tami from the North County Humane Society in 2013 and found her forever home. Since then, the two have moved together, worked together, and developed a particularly effective approach to creative collaboration.

Mookie regularly supervises editing sessions from Tami’s lap and provides quality control during podcast recordings—often pacing nearby while interviews are underway. Curious, smart, and occasionally opinionated about visitors, she takes her responsibilities seriously.

When she isn’t overseeing production, Mookie enjoys sleeping, eating, spending time with her mom, and making sure creative projects receive the appropriate amount of feline supervision.

As Toolbox’s resident Queen Bee, Mookie brings expertise in editorial oversight, podcast supervision, lap-based creative support, strategic pacing, and knowing exactly when something—or someone—deserves a hiss
